HUMBER RIVER ESTATES - Description

Humber River Estates is nestled in the beaches of Deer Lake. The peace and tranquillity of the landscape unfolds as you enter the property through the resort’s private access gate. Designed to embrace this natural beauty, the Humber River offers allure as well as challenge to even the most experienced fishermen.

Live in modern and luxury, completely furnished and equipped chalets, with a living area of 1,600 up to 5,000 square foot. These spacious and charming Canadian-style chalets include a living room with an open fireplace, from 2 bedrooms each with private bathroom, a large kitchen and a terrace.

Many attractions are close to the resort. For example, explore the wonders of the Gros Morne National Park. Designated as a world heritage site by the UNESCO, Gros Morne is one of the hidden gems in Canada’s tourism crown.
The grand opening of the Beach House with fine dining restaurant, lounge, bar, quick shop, spa and fitness center is scheduled for 2006. In the meantime you have the possibility to visit several nice restaurants nearby in Deer Lake.

The west coast of Newfoundland is truly an eco-tourism paradise with world-class opportunities for snowmobile excursions, camping, hiking, all different types of water activities, cave exploring, rock climbing, bird watching, wildlife photography and much more.

Marble Mountain the best winter recreation area in eastern Canada, is just 30 minutes away.

The climate in this region is moderate, with average summer temperatures of 27° C and average winter temperatures of -5° C. All four seasons offer a wide variety of outdoor activities.
